Khorasan Science and Technology Park (KSTP), affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology was established to bring about the dream of scientific growth and development of the country at both national and international levels. The main mission of KSTP is to increase the efficiency and competency of research and technology in compliance with the national outlines of growth and development of technology. Accordingly, KSTP by managing the flow of knowledge amongst the effective factors in the development of technology not only provides support to professional research centers for implementing the main activities leading to technology development, but also contributes to the establishment and extension of technology based enterprises within its environment.

Khorassan Science and Technology Park, located in the north eastern of the country in a land area over 40 Hectares, consists of 2500 m2 constructed buildings allocated to office and administration departments, tenants and residing companies and 1600 m2 dedicated to laboratory and pilot plant space which includes the followings:
Specialized laboratories: electronic and electrical engineering lab, instrumental chemistry lab, general food analysis lab, biotechnology and microbiology lab, food biophysics lab, nanotechnology lab and advanced technologies lab.
Workshops and pilot plants: pilot of chemistry, pilot of food technology and pilot of ceramic and materials.
