At KSTP,
Handicap Sport Pace Machine (HSP) was designed and manufactured.
Deputy to technology of Khorasan Science and Technology Park declared: this machine was produced at KSTP in order to solving the movement problems of handicaps who are suffering from immobility of spinal segmental level up to T7. HSP gives the possibility of walking to this type of handicaps; Sayyed Mehdi Mirzababaee declared, on a report of KSTP’s Public Relations Office. He declared: the T7 Handicaps that their hands’ movement power is retained, all the Patients who suffer from the cerebral apoplexy, CP and MS can experience a joyful and independent life by using this medical-sport machine.
Majid Ghodsi the managing director of Parsiyan Taher Tavan Bakhsh Technology Institute, said: after presenting the project to KSTP and during the preliminary stages, the main activity of the institute began by forming a four person specialized team in the field of artificial limbs, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and mechanical engineering.He continued: the Parsiyan Taher Tavan Bakhsh Technology Institute is one of the tenant institutes of the KSTP’s Technology Incubator which by all the KSTP supports and a history less than six month could prove its scientific ability.
Ghodsi asserted: this machine passed the semi-industrial production stage and has reached the mass production stage, which with the protection of KSTP’s Marketing Department we are hoping to enter to the global export arena.
At the end he announced: designing and producing of all the goods needed for disabled persons with the aim of providing full independence for this class of people in the society, is one of the future plans of this institute.
